Start with 20 free sends
Every portal gets a sandbox when it installs: 20 sends, any recipient, from our sandbox domain. Build a template, wire up a workflow, and watch a real email arrive before you change a DNS record or enter a card. The sandbox doesn't reset if you reinstall.
What it costs next to HubSpot's add-on
HubSpot's Transactional Email add-on runs $600 a month and requires Marketing Hub Professional ($800 a month) or Enterprise ($3,600 a month). If your portal runs on Sales or Service Hub Professional without Marketing Pro, that's at least $1,400 a month in HubSpot spend before the first receipt goes out. Here it's $89.
The comparison flips at high volume. HubSpot's add-on includes unlimited sends, so a portal already on Marketing Hub Professional that sends tens of thousands of transactional emails a month may come out ahead with HubSpot. Read the full comparison.
How extra emails work
You pick a monthly cap when you go live. When your included 1,000 run out, we buy the next 1,000-email block and keep sending. Receipts don't stop mid-month because of a billing limit you forgot about. When you hit your own cap, sends pause and your admins get an email.
You'll get a heads-up at 80% and 100% of your included emails, and again if you reach your cap.
Frequently asked questions
Is there an annual plan?
No. Billing is monthly only, one subscription per HubSpot portal.
What happens if a payment fails?
Stripe retries the charge and emails your billing contact. Sending keeps working while it retries. If the last retry fails, sending pauses until the invoice is paid, and it turns back on automatically once it is.
Do unused emails roll over?
[DECISION NEEDED: rollover policy for included emails and blocks]
Can I cancel?
Yes, anytime. Uninstalling the app cancels the subscription, and your sending setup is kept for 14 days after cancellation in case you come back.
