It's harder to justify at low volume. A company that sends 800 receipts a month pays the same $600 as one that sends 80,000. And if your portal runs on Sales or Service Hub, you'd be buying a Marketing Hub tier you don't otherwise need. ## Cheaper ways to send transactional email from HubSpot **Developer email APIs.** SendGrid, Postmark, Mailgun, and Amazon SES all send transactional email cheaply.
