This is version **2026-10** of the Transactional Email Acceptable Use Policy. ## Transactional email only Send only messages a recipient needs because of an action they took or a relationship they have with you: receipts, order and subscription notices, account and security notifications. Marketing, promotions, newsletters, discounts and upsells are not allowed, even alongside transactional content. ## Recipients you have a relationship with Send only to HubSpot contacts who are your customers or users. Purchased, rented, scraped or shared lists are not allowed. ## Content review Every template version is reviewed automatically before it can send. A template the review flags as promotional is blocked until you change it; disputes go to [support@cambiumapps.com](mailto:support@cambiumapps.com). ## Deliverability controls Warm-up limits, per-recipient limits, suppression of bounced and complaining addresses, and automatic pauses for unusual volume or high bounce and complaint rates are always on and cannot be turned off. ## Prohibited content No phishing, malware, deceptive or impersonating messages, illegal content, or content that violates the rights of others or the policies of HubSpot and Amazon Web Services. ## Enforcement Cambium may pause or suspend sending, or close the account, when this policy is violated or sending puts the shared infrastructure at risk. ## Common questions **Who has to accept the policy?** One Super Admin, once per HubSpot account, before checkout. If we publish a new version, **Settings → Billing** shows it as not accepted yet until a Super Admin accepts it. **Can I send a receipt that mentions a sale?** Keep the receipt to the purchase. A line promoting another product or a discount is the kind of content the review flags.
